Gold Coast restricted areas

      4. Queensland Boating and Fisheries Patrol
      5. Maritime Safety Queensland.
  2. At any time when there are 10 other nominated PWC being operated in the commercial PWC area by persons other than the provider – a nominated PWC operated by a person other than the provider.
nominated PWC means a personal watercraft that:
  • is certified as a class 4 personal watercraft under the Marine Safety (Domestic Commercial Vessel) National Law Act 2012 (Cwlth);
  • displays a unique identifier as defined under that Act on both sides of the personal watercraft in characters at least 100mm high
  • is approved in writing by the Area Manager, North Brisbane/Sunshine Coast to operate in the area.

accredited surf life saving club means a surf life saving club accredited by the commissioner of the police service.
