Timing: Construction starting mid-2026

We are delivering a major upgrade of the public recreational boat ramp at Kurrimine Beach. When complete, the new ramp will significantly improve access.

Maritime Safety Queensland is progressing construction of a major upgrade of the boat ramp at Bramble Street, Kurrimine Beach. The project is funded by the Queensland Government’s Marine Infrastructure Investment Program.

The new ramp design has been developed in close consultation with Cassowary Coast Regional Council and local boat ramp users to ensure the best possible outcome for the Kurrimine Beach community. When complete, the new ramp will significantly improve safety and access for boat users, as well as supporting natural coastal processes and sand movement along the beach.
