Public boating facilities temporarily closed due to construction works

Gladstone region

Location/facility: Rosslyn Bay Boat Harbour – Breakwater Drive ramp
Scope of works: Construction works at the boat ramp
Closure dates: Full closure from 6 February to early April 2023. Partial closure is from early to late April 

Location/facility: Seventeen Seventy boat ramp
Scope of works: Maintenance works will replace the boat ramp shoulders
Closure dates: Partial closure from mid-April to late May 2023

Townsville region

Location/facility: Inkerman, Peak Road (Wallace Landing)
Scope of works: Construction works at the new boat ramp
Closure dates: Full closure from 28 March to late April 2023

Location/facility: Molongle Creek
Scope of works: Bed levelling works in the navigation channel
Closure dates: No facility closures, please use caution in the area. Works will begin in early April and is expected to finish later in the month

Location/facility: Townsville Recreational Boating Park
Scope of works: Bed levelling works, intermittent closures of the boat ramps and pontoons 
Closure dates: Partial closures from 29 March to early April 2023

Cairns region

Location/facility: Inner commuter dinghy pontoon, southern Thursday Island partial closure
Scope of works: Damage needing repairs
Closure dates: Partial closure 24 February 2023 until further notice
