Commercial personal watercraft areas, Sunshine Coast
Maritime Safety Queensland has established two areas for use by hire and drive personal watercraft on the Noosa and Maroochy Rivers. The speed limit in both areas is 40 knots.
Within these designated areas, all boats are prohibited from operating or anchoring from sunrise to sunset with the exception of commercially registered hire and drive personal watercraft.
