Industry forums
Maritime Safety Queensland, in conjunction with the Marine Board, conducts regular information and feedback sessions across the state. These sessions are designed to inform people who work in the marine industry about up-to-date safety, training and crewing issues that affect their livelihoods. New and proposed changes to marine legislation are also discussed when appropriate.
The sessions can also be a chance for industry to raise issues with Maritime Safety Queensland or the Marine Board. Around six of these industry forums are held each year, in different parts of the state.
