On 31 May 2010 the Chinese-registered bulk carrier, Shen Neng 1, commenced its voyage out of Queensland and Australian waters. This follows a response by state and federal maritime authorites after the Shen Neng 1 ran aground off the central Queensland coast on 3 April 2010.
